And now for something completely different - Gluten free play dough

My daughter Kc is Celiacs so off to the absolutely gluten free show we went and what did we find? Gluten free aromatherapy play dough. Wow that was a mouth full. My girls are either too old or too young for that but i thought i would share the recipe i found and the online shop where you can buy it if you dont want to make it.


The recipe came from www.falafelandthebee.com who got it from  the Celiac Sprue Association. 

Gluten-Free Play Dough
Ingredients:
½ cup rice flour
½ cup cornstarch
½ cup salt
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 cup water
1 teaspoon cooking oil

Food coloring, if desired

Essential oils, if desired

Directions:
Mix ingredients. Cook and stir on low heat for 3 minutes or until it forms a ball. Cool completely before storing in a air tight plastic bag.

Happy happy joy joy - An natural earthy orange clay scented in sweet orange oil for an uplifting, fresh experience.

 At $9.90 for a 180gram tub its cheaper to make your own if you have all the stuff already and have the time to but the convenience of this product is great and you can even get a travel stacker for $18 so you can try all of the scents without having to buy a whole tub - and it fits easily in you hand bag or baby bag.
